At Evolve Palmerston North we provide residential rehabilitation for those brain injuries. Our clients are at the heart of everything we do. While meeting care and support needs, we aim to develop their independence and promote the rights of disabled people as equal members of society. We raise standards within the sector.
Evolve Palmerston North is a 12 bedded site with a shared kitchen, dining area, BBQ area and lounge. Based in the beautiful city of Palmerston north our site is in a friendly neighbourhood and close to local shops.
We provide person centred support to our clients and their families. Our aim is to help them in their rehab journey, supporting them to reach their individual goals and to get back into the community where possible.
We have a team of trained staff including a registered nurse, an occupational therapist and rehabilitation coaches who all provide the best possible support to our clients.
Our clients enjoy 24/7 support and care, specialist assessments and rehabilitation services. This includes traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke and other forms of acquired brain injury (ABI).
A day at Evolve Palmerston North starts with the personal care of the clients, followed by morning activities focusing on individualised rehab goals. Our clients will then enjoy group outings and recreational activities such as bowling, fishing, library visits, visits to local events and more. We also have a lawn area with a vegetable garden that our clients love to look after.
